Altana AG, a pharmaceutical corporation, has been conducting press-conferences and analyst meetings in their headquarters in Bad Homburg for some years.

Due to the difficult acoustical situation in the HQ foyer, speech intelligibility had been unsatisfactory and it was considered in 2004 to move the events to a different location.

Rahe-Kraft was employed for a detailed analysis of the acoustical situation and, if possible, to design a sound system which would enable Altana to continue conducting the events in their headquarters.

The use of DSP-controlled line-arrays, dedicated room-acoustical measures and careful tuning of the system, the achievable speech intelligibility was significantly improved.

Since 2004, the press conferences and analyst meetings are again taking place in Altana's HQ to Altanas and all visitors satisfaction.
